found a bit better resolution vid and the story:
A man attempted to hack his wife to death in broad daylight in front of a police station at Rajapalayam in Virudhunagar district in Tamil Nadu.

He was identified as Madishwaran and his wife Priya suffered knife injuries in the attack.

The incident, which happened on June 20, was caught on CCTV camera as it happened in front of the police station.

The woman was rushed to a hospital by locals and is undergoing treatment. The cops took the accused into the custody.
Other article mentioned she died in the Hospital.

Couple things:

1. India, an apparent paradise for women.
2. the one blow that lodged in her, albeit briefly, made me wince.
3. Does no one know any basic first aid? You can still apply pressure, ffs, not that it would've helped much (see #1)
