interesting how the body responds to serious wounds. that arm could have been leaking blood like crazy, but nope...it wasn't. sucks to be him.
Yeah its a nice example from a body that is in "Shock"...

All the veins narrowing to prevent lethal blood-loss..

Give this guy a drink and the possibility is high he dies nearly instantly from bloodloss [The body's organs are also shut off while in Shock condition and by giving him something to drink you are re-starting certain non-crucial organs like the stomach
