Re: Man Fatally Shot During Dispute In Texas
The gun shouldn't have even been brought into the situation in the first place. He went and got his gun because he's a weak ass bitch.

Re: Man Fatally Shot During Dispute In Texas
What a tragedy. A man trying to have his LEGAL parenting time with his son and these POS playing games with what is legally the other parents time. Unfortunately this self centered BS behavior goes on and on to extract MONEY from usually the father in this country. That guy should be charged with Homicide and Premeditated Murder because people who use children to MANIPULATE situations like this should face the full impact of disrespecting the child involved and the Court that set visitation times. Hang that murderer. |

Re: Man Fatally Shot During Dispute In Texas
If he was trying to have legal time with his son maybe he should have gone about it the legal way. In other words: don't argue on the street, take it to court as he was yelling he would. then he tried to wrestle the gun away from the guy. right or wrong that was a big mistake. Same thing applies to many situations. Don't agree with the cops? Don't argue with them, argue in court. That would save many people from getting shot. |

Re: Man Fatally Shot During Dispute In Texas
Considering that the decedent stated he was going to take the weapon and use it against the guy, I think it actually will be classified as justifiable self defense. Though as I stated in my post a few hours ago, it was still incredibly irresponsible firearm usage, even if it followed the letter of the law. |

Re: Man Fatally Shot During Dispute In Texas
He had every opportunity to back off when he saw the gun. Any reasonable person will back off and go back to the car, pointing out they're on camera. Instead, he got all aggressive and let his bravado get to his head. However you feel about the guy bringing out the gun in the first place, it was stupid to push against him and even stupider to grab the gun. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes!!! |

Re: Man Fatally Shot During Dispute In Texas
If this happened anywhere other than Texas. Because it was in Lubbock though and dude was on that guys property... in his face talking reckless. Texas castle law is a thing and you CAN be shot and killed on sight simply for trespassing on some one else's property. Still sad because it didn't need to happen :(
