Re: Man Falls to His Death Fleeing Fire

looks like the fire is localized to that one apartment. people are so terrified of fire they'd rather cling to the outside of a skyscraper than make a quick 10-15 foot dash to the door and maybe singe some hair? i don't get it.
I feel like we all think we'd be able to do that, but fires that big can be daunting. It probably would have resulted in death trying to get to the door my guy

He was literally on fire, who cares at that point if you fall or not?

Re: Man Falls to His Death Fleeing Fire

Man, are you real?
Unless you're a house fire survivor, the shit you're saying is embarrassing to read.

You don't even realize fumes can attack your eyes in addition of your lungs, and a room is completely filled with it in few seconds.
you can't breath you can't see, you're in panic mode.

You don't realize how quick a fire can grow in an apartment. Opening a door can even be your last move btw.

I have got out of an apartment fire just before it engulfed. The smoke was black and I couldn’t breathe but I felt my way out in seconds

It CAN be done if the fire hasn’t caught the route I have done it. I’m lucky the flames didn’t reach my room but the smoke certainly did
