The incident occurred on Sunday 18th, Santo Antônio neighbourhood, in the Midwest zone of Manaus.

According to the witness who recorded the scene, the male, identified as J.O.d.S., aged forty five years old, was seen being chased by another male, before being shot several times. The attacker fled the scene.

Military police stated that the victim was pursued from Travessa Belém and executed on Avenida Brasil. The gunman, who was wearing a long-sleeved shirt and shorts, shot several times at J.

Police believe the crime may be related to drug trafficking. J.'s body was removed by the Legal Medical Institute (IML) for autopsy.
