I remember reading about a similar situation that happened at a radio station in NYC many years ago...Some DJ was talking into a mic, lightning struck the antenna, and the spark came out of the mic and set the guy's beard on fire.

This is what should happen on shows like 'American Idol', if they suck just zap them with enough current to set them on fire then watch them twitch around on the floor. Fuck, I'd actually watch the show if they did that, at least the early episodes where you know there'll be a bunch of deluded talentless mongs getting on stage.
