A man died and another was injured after receiving an electrical shock while performing water tank filling work on the roof of a home. One of the workers came into contact with a high-voltage cable while supplying water via a long hose on the parapet of a home, receiving an electrical shock that left him unconscious. The businessowner that hired the truck tried to help him but got shocked and fell from the third floor to the public roadway, where he unfortunately died. The surviving worker remains in critical but stable condition under strict medical observation at the Hospital Dr. Domingo Luciani. The incident has sparked outrage among neighbors in the Vista Hermosa community, who are demanding immediate government intervention to remove illegal and dangerously low-hanging power lines that dangle over residential structures. |
