A tragic accident at a resort in Sindhudurg's Malvan taluka claimed the life of a 25-year-old man. The youth reportedly suffered fatal injuries after attempting a high dive into a swimming pool

S.M.T. was on vacation with a group of friends. He attempted to dive headfirst into the resort's swimming pool from an elevated height of roughly 8 feet high into a pool with roughly 4-5 ft of water.  Investigators are looking into whether the resort violated safety mandates by failing to display clear depth markers or No Diving warning signs around the pool area and no life safety staff or lifeguards were present to prevent guests from jumping from unsafe heights.  · |

Dove. He dove into the pool. Breaking your neck is not necessarily instant death, either. He could have been paralyzed and completely conscious, stunned by the impact and wondering why it is that his body doesn't do what he's telling it to. To me, that's much worse than an instant death. |

I've lived in India and in the second world, and you are expected to have common sense. There are no placards and warnings and such things. I remember seeing a beautiful wall around some facility, and every 20 ft was stenciled the warning not to urinate on this wall. The average IQ in India is 82 and the lowest IQ the United States military will accept is 83. The average African IQ is 70 and the average African-American IQ is 85. There's your difference between opportunity/ the environment |
