Man Dies After Bungee Jump Goes Wrong
Brazil, A man fell from a height of 40 meters and died while practicing bungee jumping on a railway bridge last Sunday, 18, near São Paulo. The victim, 36-year-old, jumped with the elastic cord tied around his ankle, but hit the ground hard. The fall was witnessed by his wife, the 6 years old son and a brother of the victim, who was accompanied by the girlfriend. According to the Civil Police, relatives said that the victim hired a team specializing in extreme sports to guide the jump. When he jumped up and turned upside down, the safety rope that bound the rubber band would have broken and his body hit the ground, slamming his head hard. The man was taken by the Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu) to a hospital in but he did died. The doctors attested the death by cardiorespiratory arrest resulting from polytrauma. |

Did the onlookers even realise what had happened? They didn't sound too alarmed.

Re: Man Dies After Bungee Jump Goes Wrong
Hope he didn't pay them in advance. $1 now, and $99 if I survive. It also looks like bungees were tied together with knots. |
