Man Dead, Daughter Injured when Stolen Audi with Kidnapped Man in It Hits Them
Yesterday, in Ukraine, a speeding Audi hit three people at an intersection. A 30-year-old man died on the spot, his 4-year-old daughter received a fracture of a cranial dermal bone, a hip fracture and several other minor fractures. The child is in intensive care. Her condition is assessed as severe but stable. Another passerby also ended up in hospital. Shortly before this, two attackers kidnapped the owner of the audi and put him in the passenger seat and drove him in an unknown direction. It was found that they planned to demand 20 thousand US dollars from him in exchange for his freedom. Weapons were found in the wrecked car and the police began to untwist the story. A few hours later, special forces arrested the accomplices of the kidnappers inside a hide-out. A total of six people were detained of the group that was engaged in the kidnapping plan. At the head of the criminal gang was 54-year-old V. D, who was released from prison last November. They can receive up to 15 years in prison for these crimes after conviction. |

Why'd they stop? They should have run forward. The person in the front could have easily made it to those cars, clearing the road for the audi. But I guess it's hard to make that sort of split second decision.
