Because it is morally wrong to enjoy the pain of another being who is suffering grievously, even unto a brutally horrific death.

I hope most of us here come to DR to shock ourselves into numbness, to ameliorate our own pain—as I do.

Morbid curiosity, perhaps, too... but, in all earnestness... I would hope not pleasure, as that would be sociopathic and inhumane.

P.S. For a God, to watch the evil he allowed to come to pass, and still do nothing—would be thrice the criminality.
