Here is the mentality......these people have not been professionally trained to handle the level of trauma this guy has sustained. There is really nothing a layperson CAN do, but look-on, until the EMT's/medical personnel arrive on scene. On a side note, those of you who have seen my posts and have gotten a feel of my experience....I will say it again.....they give me hamburger, I will patch them up and ship em' off to a specialist!! Trauma docs rule!!!  |

THIS!!! There's not a whole lot you can do other than comfort them unless you have a full trauma kit readily available and then you would have to be trained to use said trauma kit.
