he was probably a process inspector or something. he did not come down voluntarily. you can see the dark colored jacket cloth wound around the roller as it pulled him to it. then the bigger light blue/green cloth wound around the roller too as he was pulled in more. stupid to wear loose jacket and clothes around machines like that.
