Man Crushed by Elevator in NY
This past Thursday, S.C.W., aged 30, was crushed to death by an elevator at the Manhattan Promenade. The residential tower had a history of elevator problems. The elevator dropped suddenly as he was exiting into the lobby. Three other people inside the car, who witnessed the tragedy unfold, were rescued and physically uninjured, the local fire department said.
