Serious PTSD for the people who saw that, especially with the ones remaining inside the elevator.. Major lawsuit coming up... That property will be up for sale soon.. When equipment such as elevators are used over and over hundreds of thousands of times or maybe even in the millions, replacement should be implemented; They probably didn't do it because it was the only elevator in operation, of the two servicing the building and it would be an inconvenience for the tenants... |

I am fascinated by the reaction people have when they directly witness someone's death. It's palms to the forehead, usually with fingers extended, or hands covering the mouth as they quickly walk away. It's a universal reaction. I wonder why this is true? Why hands to the forehead? What purpose does it serve? Are we saying to ourselves "ok I'm touching myself. I'm still here. Whew! Touching myself and confirming everything is good over here"? |
