Maybe he could’ve just jumped off instead of trying to climb down from the lowbed truck, but that broken bulldozer was coming straight at him anyway—and that’s what got him killed. Staying on the truck might’ve been safer, but when you’re in survival mode, you do whatever feels right—even if it’s wrong. And sometimes, that’s what gets you.
