Embarrassing to admit this, but I sideswiped a car that way when I was backing between a tight space. I got distracted for a moment, and when I went to step on the brake, the car accelerated and BAM. It had never happened before or since so I don’t know how or why it happened. To make matters worse, the owner of the car I hit was sitting in my passenger seat. We were both like “WTF?”. Fortunately there was hardly any damage to either car, so there were no costly repairs.

We all have our moments, my friend. I rolled a police interceptor into a ditch and totaled it...

Was on a call in the mid 80s,warehouse worker had jumped off the dock to move a pallet and the driver didnt see him,pinned him between the rear of the trailer and the concrete dock.he was conscious and talking with us,we worked hard to get some protection on him,but they nudged the truck forward,the wrap slipped and his guts spilled out and he was dead in seconds.
