Don’t look like suicide to me. They were both crossing the road and not paying attention.
He just panicked and chose to go the wrong way.

I seriously don't think it was suicide at all! The man started drifting into the road before the truck was even close, and he seemed surprised when he saw the truck literally upon him. His major mistake was, in trying to get out of the way, he went the WRONG way!

“Skipping” towards the body. Damn autocorrect.
Sort of looks like he injured his leg a bit ago.. Like he was trying to quickly get over there, but his leg was hurting him, causing him to limp and run at the same time.

Not suicide at all. just a bit forgetful. He tried to cross ahead of the truck forgetting he was not as spry and agile as he was 20 years ago. jumping beer belly always slows down running.
