That’s not too far off. I was in Qatar for a while and the locals don’t look or care about traffic while walking the streets. It’s an Allah’s will mentality. The streets are constantly filled with a cacophony of car horns blaring and pedestrians simply do not care or seem to notice at all. Completely different culture and mentality there. Also, locals are so oil rich they drive the nicest cars you’ve ever seen. McClarens or whatever driving over desert sand with a driver who gives zero fucks. When the cars break down they just abandon them on the side of the road and get new ones. The shoulder is just a race car graveyard and the streets are like frogged for Islam. |
