Yeah, this could be survivable the same way as some guys survive being cut in half. If you look at the Ukraine war thread, then you see a lot of cases when a grenade explodes next to Ru/Ukr soldiers and they walk it off. Or...if you have seen the famous grenade drop that landed between the guys legs and blew his legs off...or another one that blew a guys face off( but he survived...like a predator...at least for a some time)

So, dropping grenades at your feet is the shittiest way to kill yourself if you have grenades. Best way...put 1 grenade under your chin, pull the pin and look down.

Yup. Thanks Hollywood. Grenades are not that powerful. People frequently survive ground level contact range grenades, land mines, IEDs, pressure cookers, etc. Bad way to try to end it.

Frag grenades are designed to wound, certainly they kill as well, but often you survive, but are just mangled.
