I think I can see why this guy fell (apart from being an idiot). At the very beginning of this clip, you can see his right arm stretched up with his hand grabbing onto a large chunk of rock that gives way. It looks like it hits him on the head and probably his knees and feet. Either way, the shifting rock is what threw this guy off.
