Mumbai man jumps before local train in Malad

A 35-year-old man committed suicide by jumping before a local train in Mumbai.

The incident took place at the suburban station of Malad at 8.30 am in the morning.

The identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained.

According to the CCTV footage of the incident, the man descended from the railway bridge and then started walking along the platform.

As soon as he saw the train approaching, he jumped in front of it.

The speeding train, which had no stoppage at Malad, was going towards Churchgate station.

The motive behind the suicide is still unknown. The Western Railways Police is probing the case.

I think he was covering his other ear so he could continue talking on the phone like he either didn't know some guy just got obliterated or didn't care.
