It looks like the pick didn't damage the brain stem. The brain stem is responsible for life sustaining functions like heart rate and breathing. When we see people shot in the top or side of the head, they go down because the concussion of the bullet knocked them out. If the bullet doesn't damage the brain stem then you simply die from blood loss.  |

I feel like Brazil as a whole is out of control. Atleast the crime, and that kind of lifestyle, down there. takes a good 40 to 50 years off your life  |

must be a retaliation for the prison massacre. I just read in the news that the executions of thugs in the street of Manaus where the prison massacre happened have increased on the last hours.
