Man Attempting to Cross the Road Hit by Toyota, Run Over By Truck
Antipolo, Rizal, Philippines A construction worker, aged 35, was killed when he attempted to cross the road on early Tuesday morning, whilst on the way to buy some pandesal (bread roll). Whilst standing near the median, waiting for a lane to clear, he was struck by a Toyota Innova, and was then run over by a passing truck. According to a local police lieutenant colonel: "Upon the arrival of our investigators, it was already obvious from the visuals alone that there was no proof of life. Different body parts were scattered... it's unpleasant to describe, but you could immediately see how violent the incident was for our victim." The truck driver surrendered himself to police. He was released when he promised to cover the cost of the deceased's funeral. The Toyota driver remains in the wind. |

Wow every wheel on that side did the deed. Nice of the truck driver to take the blame and cover funeral expense even though it's crystal clear he was not at fault. |

Another horrendous Chicken-crossing-the-road situation. How long will this happen before strict laws are placed on chickens?!?!? |

His partner wants the Toyota driver to report himself so he or she can be charged with reckless imprudence resulting in homicide.
