Man is Arrested After Stabbing Ex-Partner to Death in Her House
Hopefully an unwatermarked version surfaces soon. A man was arrested after fatally stabbing his ex-partner inside her house in Goiana, in the North Mata region of Pernambuco state, Brazil, on Wednesday (20). A neighbor of the victim tried to intervene, and was stabbed in the hand. According to the woman's relatives, she had separated from the perpetrator ten days ago, but he did not accept the separation. The victim was identified as Z.P.d.C., a 51-year-old civil servant. Recently, according to a witness, she filed a police complaint against her partner, 54-year-old D.G.V., whom she had been with for five years, but she later withdrew it. Around 2pm, D. surrounded Z.'s house and began to argue with her. According to reports, Z. defended herself, and then he took out a knife and started attacking her. Neighbours of the victim attacked D., and he was arrested by the Military Police to face charges on femicide and attempted murder. |
