A 19-year-old motorcyclist, identified as Irfan A., was killed when he crashed on the Kulim-Butterworth Highway in Penang.

Dashcam footage showed that the biker was travelling on the emergency lane when a truck driver switched onto the lane. The biker was hit by the truck, and then collided into the barrier, nearly ripping off one of his arms. Reportedly, the motorcycle lane on the highway was shut for maintenance work.

Although he remained conscious at the scene, Irfan died in hospital.

Bikers fault. Dude was an idiot trying to pass when he shouldn't. Little more cautious and the truck would be in the breakdown lane and he could accelerate on by. Oh well one more idiot gone.

Made me want to get my first aid kit out of my car and start plugging the guys wounds with combat gauze to piss off the doctors at the hospital. So far I have only used it for a serious pike fish bite on a stranger.
