Saudis have two things working against them: (1) their medieval-age government, their fucked up religion of darkness, and (2) how the wealthy sometimes treat their imported servants like slaves, visiting violence upon them for their occasional slights (beatdowns of indentured servants are sometimes reported in the press). That's actually three things but it doesn't matter. But we want their oil for the John Deere tractor because the lawn, it has to be mowed. so we put up with those people.
