That is vile. I think using maggots to clean an infected eye socket sort of throws out the idea of modern medicine as an advancement. Some old school methods do work, like using leeches for blood purification, but if your a regular blood donor, it's pretty much the same thing; using maggots though, I'll give that a miss.
