Re: Lynching of Two Robbers in Africa
An otherwise strong, healthy, young stud/buck-(as portrayed in ROOTS) would not routinely endure mistreatment-(severe beatings) by their owners. The main reason why is that the productivity for the abused slave would drop to zero during the recuperation period. Post slavery dealt with the nasty RACISM issues, indignities, Moreover, I had nothing to do with the injustices history and possibly my dead ancestors meshed out. Shameful & sorrowful. |

Re: Lynching of Two Robbers in Africa
How so? If you mean not the traditional Deep South lynching involving hanging from a tree then you are correct - if however you mean it’s not lynching BECAUSE it’s not a hanging then you’re wrong. ‘Lynching is a premeditated extrajudicial killing by a group. It is most often used to characterize informal public executions by a mob in order to punish an alleged transgressor, convicted transgressor, or to intimidate a group.’ |
