Re: Lynching and Burning of Thief in Africa
Punish a thief by all means but this is the most disgusting video I have ever seen. They could have just shot him in the head with the 12 gauge pistol.

Re: Lynching and Burning of Thief in Africa
What the fuck. Are their cinder blocks made of kitty litter and paper mache'? They just turn into powder when they hit him. This is one reason building collapse spectacularly in 3rd world nations, crappy materials. |

Re: Lynching and Burning of Thief in Africa
Really? Crushing someone's head with a cinder block doesn't prevent that person from doing the same thing again? You said yourself that people do things because they're just that screwed up. Killing someone stops them, even if it doesn't act as a deterrent. But you're lying to yourself if you don't think it acts as a deterrent for some people who aren't just "screwed up in the head". It's so easy to pass this judgement on "barbaric" people when you live in a civilized society with a judicial system that does a passable-enough job that the average person doesn't ever have to deal with these emotions face to face. But they're very real, and they're as natural as any other human instinct, and they exist to serve a purpose just like any other instinct. |
