I'm with you on this one. I can handle the pics (unless it's kids or animals) but vids are another thing so I look at the comments first to get the gist of what's happened. To this day, I still haven't watched the Dnepropetrovsk Maniacs video. This video was tame in comparison. Everything was for show (stabbing, cannibalism, & necro).

I just read the description to check for child warnings and then watch. What's disturbing to one person may not be shit to the next, so other peoples comments don't mean much to me.

The Dnepropetrovsk Maniacs video was brutal. The first time I watched it I was disturbed but after having seen it 10 or so times, it's nothing now. Erics video was pretty lame. Absolutely disgusting, no doubt, but like you said it was all for show. But is doing all that for show any better or worse than what the Dnepropetrovsk Maniacs did?

r0tten - I don't think Eric had the balls to go to the level that the D Maniacs did. IMHO, what the D Maniacs did was far worse. At least Eric drugged (assumed) Jun Lin before he started fucking him up. The brutality described in the Dnepropetrovsk Maniacs video appeared to be the boys egging each other on. Would the brutality have reached that level if there were only one?

Yeah those two videos and events are leagues apart; Luka is a weird attention seeking, openly gay, fantasist. The Dnerrrvevrvrvrvroooopsrrkakss maniacs were fucked up Ukrainian boys who I would imagine we're hardcore homophobic/neo nazi styleeee! Maybe not, but that's the impression I got.

Neither acts are justifiable but the Dnepropetrovsk maniacs are in a class of their own.

I agree. I also doubt he filmed the whole thing from start to finish. We know he used the small pink camera, but I doubt it would have enough battery life and memory capacity to do more than 90 mins or so. So I reckon he was picking his moments to film.

Yeah, the two videos are leagues apart. For a start, in the Magnotta video you see none of the victim's suffering, all the mutilation shown is post mortem and there is no sound.

It was the sounds in the Dnepropetrovsk Maniacs video that unsettled me the first time I watched it, it's been the only video that gave me such a horrible, disturbed feeling that lingered for a few days and actually made me wonder if I had made a mistake in viewing it.

This video is nothing compared to that, as you guys say, this one is all for show and trying to garner as much attention and shock as possible, it just didn't phase me watching it.
