The rest would be removed as slag
Dream on, the plant manager will say "ship that batch!" as soon as any police / inspectors leave. Perhaps the family will be given some scrapings in a low quality Chinese carboard box or ash can, probably from another batch or machine.

I love the word "slag", as in "this Scotch has the bouquet of a smoldering slag heap with hints of Bazooka Joe bubblegum overtones...."
