I've seen enough of these vids to chime in on this. There are a good half of the vids where I question whether or not someone is just a seasoned badass who knows what's coming, or if they've been drugged. For example, the "taxi driver chopped by sicaros", I'm pretty sure that guy was drugged. There's only so much "badass" you can be until you're getting chopped up slowly over a course of time. I'm not sure if they're all drugged, but I want to think the "chainsaw beheading" was just pure badassery. However, to answer your question: To make it easier on the killers. Shoot them up with a small amount of drugs, and you get them to stay calm during the talk and the following brutality. But yes, I do agree with others who say you'd think they'd want it to be more screaming as a deterrent. Could be a sort of "mercy" to help dull the pain (?). Who knows. It's hard to tell, but I also wouldn't go pairing this kind of shit up with sensibility.  |

The way his face appears to be reacting to the slashes at about 1:45 or so is eerie. It seems hard to believe there's any life left in him at that point but....
