It always gets me when they strike the spine and the body starts flopping around. I've had 6 spine surgeries already, so I wonder if I've ever flopped around in the OR...  |

I wonder if he's still conscious when the head is held up to the camera? Or in the case of the guilloutine and other very fast beheadings, how long does it take for the brain to loose consciousness and to stop seeing, feeling, smelling and such-like? If the victim is beheaded with his eyes open, there must be a period, however brief, where they're still conscious? Before the merciful peace of death overcomes them. Anyone? |
