Local Man Killed, Driver Fled Scene. Brazil 23/06/26
Amazonas – A fatal accident registered this Tuesday morning (23), in the Center of Manaus, in front of Colégio Dom Bosco, resulted in the death of Antônio Ferreira da Silva, 60, popularly known as “Cearazinho do Salgado”. He worked daily selling "snacks" in the area. According to preliminary information, the victim was well-known to pedestrians and students who frequented the location where he sold food. Witnesses reported that a vehicle struck the man and the driver fled the scene without providing assistance.
