Mexico. While police initially cited a land dispute as a possible cause (based on family statements), investigators are also looking into whether the attack was a targeted hit related to local organized crime. Police has not detained any suspects for the double homicide yet. |

I have another theory : the blacksmith was blackmailed by black men, he had to put the money in a black box but he blacked out, so they shot him point-blanck and everything went black.  |

The 2nd victim looked like he was thinking of trying to help/step in front of the first but then saw the unfolding danger, and then rushed forward anyway almost 'chasing' the cycle for a couple steps, charging right into bullet(s) he instinctively tried to swat aside because he was still too far try for a disarm (or whatever he was thinking). SO much goin' on for him, in that last not-even-a-second.
