Some of the news sources says the boy was 4 some says he was 5  From one of the source: ONGOLE: In a gruesome instance of human sacrifice, a 35 year old villager severed the head of a four-year-old child and offered his blood to Goddess Kali seeking "divine powers". The macabre incident took place in Scheduled Castes colony in the remote Pokur village at Valetivaripalem mandal in Prakasam district on Wednesday (Sep 30.) Police recovered the sickle used by the accused at his residence. Enraged villagers caught hold of the killer and set him on fire. He was taken to Kandukur hospital with 40% burns. Villagers said Rao performed black magic and various pujas as he believed he would attain divine powers and wealth by human sacrifice. The accused is believed to have filled the blood in a bottle and offered it to deities. |

Like Christians you mean? For centuries Americans have been lining up in a Church and eating wafers and drinking wine they believe contains the embodiment of some dead jewish carpenter from 2000 years ago and praying to some sky daddy for their crops or dead loved ones and let's not even mention the hundred of shootings by "god-fearing-patriots" or that some stupid americans think Confederate flag soluting is somehow patriotic when it's actually the least American thing you can do. Fucked up 'culture' ??? I agree. Let's point to our own first though rather than pointing elsewhere. Afterall, America should be leading the world with science and intelligence, but they AINT.
