I think at least most of the footage is real. I don't know why they had to put a blow up dummy in as it is already riveting to watch.

Found out that the guys name is Pit Dernitz... He even has his own IMDB profile... And according to that, he's appeared in something in 2001... So im guessing fake considering the guy is meant to be a professional lion trainer, or they did actually attack but he survived...
