yes its one of the videos from the official faces of death series, i think there was 4 volumes i used to have the VHS copies and i know this because it was my favorite . moral of story really stupid idea  guy deserves that but sucks to hear the audio of baby crying and wife watching it.. shouldve rammed into the lion with the car i dunno

As another user has already said, the real tell tale sign that it's fake is that the lions don't go for the throat. All species of cats kill primarily by grasping their pray by the throat and suffocating them (and if that fails, they will of course bleed to death anyway).

Even if that was real, there is no sense killing one or all of those attacking lions for the sake of one stupid tourist who should have sense enough to stay away from those beautiful big cats.
