I have a picture of myself on Mt Lemmon in AZ with my hair standing on end during a nearby storm. My stupid ex says, “hey stand up on that rock so I can get a good picture of you” so I did, he says “yeah, your hair is standing on end”…    |

It's no myth, I have personal friends, a group of 5 that were standing together, noticed their hair standing up (they were in an open area in the rain) they all rushed to their vehicles, luckily just in time, there was a lightning strike right by them.
