What you speak of are things called laws, that keep our society in order. Case law to be exact, almost every law exists after some bullshit happened that was legal at the time. You are going to the extreme of questioning law as if it saps our freedom. I agree there are plenty of bullshit laws(I think all drugs should be legalized and regulated) such as marijuana being illegal is up surd.

However, you can't just say that because you can't do whatever you want makes you not free. Of course there are going to be rules. That is where we fucked up in Iraq. We swept through all these towns and villages in the invasion crushing enemy and then leaving without the town in any type of control. Mass chaos ensued and continues. It's like the wild west.

Are we ever going to be 100% free? No. But I would rather live with a higher standard of living then live in a lawless country and look like I'm 80 at age 40 or be dead.

Insurgents fight with no honour, all they can do is kill people by planting IEDs in the roads or detonating themselves in public. They are the worst kind of enemy. Fuck it guys, I say pull all our allied troops out of there and nuke them into nothingness. You're wrong. You paint a picture of them being brave but they're not. You think blowing yourself up or planting an IED is brave? It's not. They give their lives so freely because they have a primitive belief of fucking 72 virgins or whatever BS it is when they die. These people still stone people to death and kill children for small indescrepencies, a place where a man can have as many wives as he wants, but if a woman has anything on show other than her eyes she'll probably get stoned too.
