At Least 6 Killed After Gunmen Entered an Ecuadorian Restaurant/restobar
A deadly mass shooting occurred in the early hours of today, between 1:00 AM and 3:30 AM at a well-known food establishment and bar, located across from the train tracks in Durán, Ecuador. According to initial reports armed individuals carrying long-range rifles and firearms arrived at the establishment and opened fire indiscriminately on the patrons inside. The attack resulted in 6 people killed and multiple others wounded. This massacre is part of a severe wave of ongoing security issues affecting the cantón of Durán. The National Police have arrived at the scene, cordoned off the area near the old train station, and initiated an active investigation into the motives and perpetrators behind the shooting. |

How sad. These folks live an impoverished life and then get to deal with gun toting cartels and gangsters shooting patrons in places where people are enjoying themselves.  |

I don't know why people don't arm themselves. You see these killings and if aware you could defend yourself in many of these situations. It can happen anywhere.
