Even though they are RUSSIAN, there still civies doing ordinary things, just like Civilian Ukrainian People in fact who get shelled in Mall's, Schools, Playgrounds, Train Stations, Hospitals, Residential Complexes, Grocery Stores, Fuel Stations, Gas & Electrical Plants & now that they have something happen to them by "Who Ever" for whatever reason it's suddenly a national disaster & act of terrorism & that's even if its directly connected to the war.

What the fuck does Poo Tin think, that his whole SMO / War/ Invasion, isn't an act of terrorism, wiping out a whole race of ppl with his genocidal tactics & scorched earth policy, talk about hypocrisy.

Luckily, they didn't have any grenades as they could have caused a shit ton load of more damage with 3 or 4 grenades each, plus the auto's, which suggests to me that it wasn't planned, or planed that well, as if it was military operatives, they would have planned it better & executed it more efficiently as several guys with auto's, unopposed, in that very small kill box environment could have caused so much more damage than 40 dead.
The average clip is 20 rounds, times that by the shooters, & they say several shooters, so it's not definitive but several is 3 or more, so with that being said, its 60 rounds for three shooters & it could be more than 3 shooters, so at average 5 mags each is 300 rounds with 40 dead in that confined area is lucky IMO.

The underlying unanswered questions though are, Who sent them & Why, what was the true motive & are there other attacks yet to be carried out by the same ppl & what's the linking factor behind identifying these assholes to a faction or organization, is it a false flag as some have suggested, smoke & mirror job or just a couple of Wagner's Wankers getting a bit of revenge on the populace for shit that they suffered on the front lines.

All countries either have suffered or will suffer under islamic terrorism at some point. Islam is not compatible with any other religion or freedom. Its fundamentally at war with the whole world. The question is, what methods will it use to get its will...coercion, persecution or straight out violence.

It's interesting to note that the US Embassy warned Russia just two weeks ago that an attack in Moscow from ISIS was imminent, and Putin dismissed it as "blackmail" and the US trying to intimidate Russia.
