Well having lived in NL during Brexit I have to agree with you. Because once we left your country treated me like shit, as though I were a terrorist.

The only way for me to stay after serving your country for 24 years was to gain a verblijfsvergunning document. I was told that to get this I had to be ingeschreven with my local council. But to register as ingeschreven I first needed verblijfsvergunning.

This game of bureaucratic tennis went on for a year, an act of spiteful retribution to punish those who dared to leave the club. Eventually I was expelled after some controversy that I don't have the time to elaborate on. All the while, Dutch residents in the UK were treated with fairness. So if you believe in karma, should NL decide to withdraw from the EU, it is inevitable that you will suffer equal mistreatment. I hope not, I love your country. But I think you are correct in fearing that a Nexit will not end well.
