CNN - ISIS has claimed responsibility for an attack at a popular concert hall complex near Moscow Friday after assailants stormed the venue with guns and incendiary devices, killing at least 60 people and injuring 145. ISIS? They still exist? I though they were completely defeated |

Putin will never use nukes, except perhaps short of Russia... and Moscow... actually being overrun by western forces. Even then it's likely he'd get a bullet in the back of his head from his own people before he could successfully get his military to launch. He (and every powerful person in Russia) knows that to do so is a death sentence for Russia and for Putin personally. His bluster and propaganda is just that. Even one small yield tactical nuclear weapon would bring on a global military response (likely conventional) led by the United States and Nato. Even if the target isn't protected under Article 5. Regardless of the ineptitude of many governments and government entities, all understand that to not respond with overwhelming force would be basically negating the protection provided to the world since the 1950's by M.A.D., and would greatly encourage the further use of nuclear weapons by everyone, especially Russia.

A comment based on no supporting evidence. Look at mass shootings in the US. How many are perpetrated by US citizens (usually white males) and how many by immigrants... legal or illegal? I'm certainly not a fan of what's happening at our border, but risk of mass shootings isn't at the top of that list. Other then simple fear mongering, this idea has no useful purpose as being a credible threat based on any actual evidence.
