Mexico, A young man, about 18 years old, was shot dead yesterday afternoon on the road to Reforma, near the Río Tinto first section ranch.

The victim was traveling on a motorcycle. The deceased was involved in drug trafficking, he was carrying a firearm in his waistband.

He was intercepted by two individuals traveling on a bike who caught up with him and shot him at least 3 times before fleeing in an unknown direction.

The young man lay on the pavement still alive, but out of fear of those present, no one approached to help him. They waited for the arrival of the authorities, as they noticed that he was carrying a weapon in his waistband.

State police officers arrived at the scene and cordoned off the area while requesting assistance from paramedics who confirmed the death. The body had multiple gunshot wounds to the chest.

Some onlookers told that the young man was known by the nickname "El Chuky", allegedly linked to the sale of narcotics.

Unofficial reports indicate that the deceased had outstanding arrest warrants against him and was considered a generator of violence in the area.
