The fight between two women, who were neighbours, for the love of the same man came to a bloody end this Tuesday afternoon (21), in Tarumã neighbourhood, West Zone of Manaus.

The neighbours had clashed in front of the business where the man worked. Armed with a knife she had taken from her house, one of the women, identified as B., stabbed her rival, L., in the neck.

After the murder, B. fled the scene and L. stayed on the ground, dying and losing blood. She was rushed to hospital, but was pronounced dead.

I read several conflicting reports of whether the victim was dead at the scene, dead on arrival at the hospital, died hours later, or is still in the ICU clinging to life. Brazilian reporting is always dicey.

I haven't been able to verify, but she looks dead or damn close to it in the photos/video.
