I'm not a mind reader but I think it was more of a suggestion than a blame thing. I was a triathlete for many years (stopped about 10 years ago) and for the last 3 years I competed I did ZERO riding on the road for training. Did 100% in the trainer. The only time I was on the road was for a race. I used up my nine lives with the close calls. I don't know who was the greater risk, the aggressive assholes who just didn't like the fact a biker was on the road or the dildos who spent more time looking at their phone than they did the road. And I was the guy who obeyed every rule while riding. I acknowledge there are plenty of dickheads on bikes who feel the world should get out of their way.
