they also carry stun guns for this situations. guy obviously having only pipe after few warning if he still refuse shock the shit out of him instead of killing him.

Los Angeles police shot and killed a man who was holding a pipe on Saturday. Officers were dispatched around 12:30 p.m. to a fast food restaurant near the intersection of South Broadway and West Olympic Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. "When they arrived they saw a male Hispanic holding what's described as a 4-to-5-foot metal pipe," said Det. Meghan Aguilar. "We know that there was a Taser used by one of the officers. Unfortunately the encounter did end with an officer-involved shooting." The man was transported to a hospital, where he died, according to police. "There was some commotion and my co-worker was outside. I went outside and there was a gentleman wearing all white who approached the man holding the pipe," said Bryce Marshall, a witness who works across the street from the location of the shooting. "An altercation was going on and then the cops shortly arrived like right after that," Marshall added. "Basically the cops told the man to put down the pipe and he wasn't really following the commands. He basically took a few steps forward. I don't know if it was directly at the cop or the gentleman he had the altercation with. Then the officer fired two shots." Police did not release the identity of the deceased or the officers involved in the shooting. |

Double excuse, can say they acted with lethal force because the guy he had the altercation with, looked as if he was about to get his head caved in, that an we were scared as well   |

I don't understand why they didn't just shoot the leg avoiding the knee quadriceps and femur bone? If they timed it just right they could have saved the shirt from getting stained too  |
