Re: 'This Land is Mine' Gaza War Compilation

Ignorance.. it's like fighting against KKK folks who think blacks shouldn't even exist. Unfortunately everyone has a right to exist these days and that's something these dumbfucks (Muslims) needs to stop brainwashing their new generations with.

You can't fight a GOOD way against insurgents anyway. You always have to hold back because the guerrilla tactics include crap like hiding stuff around normal safe spots. You're damned if you strike them and damned if you don't.

ALL IT TAKES is these shits to stop launching rockets and attacking the Israelis. They already have non-mulism countries sending them aid and other support. The tipping point is there for additional support since they are back on center stage.

BUT BUT BUT also don't forget they can't get their shit together enough to have a stable government. Fatah, Hamas, whoever the flavor of the decade is can't stop the infighting long enough. They should look for a leader like Mandela was in SA, someone to push them past the fights and establish a party strong enough to rule with support from the rest of the world.

Until then Gaza and the West Bank will never rise from the pit they are in. And as an American who has visited most of the middle east, Israel is a JEWEL of western democracy in a region filled with despots and theocracies that just tolerate the US (because of aid) or hate this country outright. So who do I hope wins? Easy answer! ISRAEL.
Stop talking bullshit, all it takes is stopping occupations, sanctions and blockades against palestinians. If somebody would take your water, your energy, your education, your rights to move, your rights to demonstrate, your rights to fish etc. etc, you would start to resist too, even with weapons you moron

Re: 'This Land is Mine' Gaza War Compilation

Unfortunately everyone has a right to exist these days and that's something these dumbfucks (Muslims) needs to stop brainwashing their new generations with.
Firstly, you seem to have difficulty in speaking (or at least writing in) English. From your first paragraph alone, it is painfully obvious that you can barely express yourself, let alone have the prerequisite IQ to enable you to grasp the political complexities of the Israel-Palestine conflict.

You do not make sense.

You say: "everyone has a right to exist these days"
and then: "and that's something these dumbfucks (Muslims) needs to stop brainwashing their new generations with"

So basically, you are saying that Muslims are brainwashing their new generations with the idea that everyone has the right to exist! Which is surely the opposite of what you meant!

Secondly, when you call Muslims dumbfucks and advise us to "stop brainwashing their new generations" - you not only show that you're a prejudiced bigot, but also prove to us that you are an ignorant moron who knows very little about what is really going on around him.

Although there are some Muslims (as there are from other creeds, races and religions) who exhort their ignorant followers to kill etc. Most of us (99.99%) work, raise families, eat our breakfasts, read the newspapers etc. i.e. lead normal lives, knowing full well that others have a right to exist.

If you are referring (it's very difficult to tell due to your abysmal grasp of the English language, as previously mentioned) to Hamas's declaration that it does not recognise the right of the State (not it's people) of Israel to exist, then you should know that there is no legal requirement (by the U.N. or elsewhere) that they should recognise Israel. It is only Israel (and yourself it seems) who demand this (obviously, in the case of Israel to make peace negotiations impossible). Mahatma Gandhi refused to recognise the right of Pakistan to exist. Are you saying that Hamas should be forced to have a higher diplomacy than Ghandi?

You can't fight a GOOD way against insurgents anyway.
The Palestinian resistance are not insurgents.

The United States Department of Defense (DOD) defines 'insurgency' as "An organized movement aimed at the overthrow of a CONSTITUTED GOVERNMENT through use of subversion and armed conflict."

As the Israeli state has, according to United Nations and International Law been illegally occupying Gaza and the West Bank for the last 47 years (since 1967), it can in no way be defined as 'the constituted government.'

I suggest you stop watching Fox News, buy yourself a dictionary (and some history books) and stop talking out of your arse, using words over two syllables (just because they sound gung-ho) until you know what they mean.

ALL IT TAKES is these shits to stop launching rockets and attacking the Israelis.
Again please stop watching Fox et al and sucking on Israeli propaganda. This is really one of the most important issues and the reason why many a dimwitted ignoramus actually supports Israel (not that all supporters of Israel are dimwitted ignoramus's) i.e. they believe that Hamas fired first, without provocation.

Anyone with the sincerity and wherewithal to research this matter diligently would know that Benjamin Netanyahu used the abduction of three young Jewish settlers on the West Bank as an excuse for a violent crackdown on Hamas supporters there, killing 5 Palestinians, arresting 350 Palestinians including nearly all of Hamas' West Bank leaders although Hamas had nothing to do with it. The Hamas rocket attacks were a response to this 'provocation'.

BUT BUT BUT also don't forget they can't get their shit together enough to have a stable government. Fatah, Hamas, whoever the flavor of the decade is can't stop the infighting long enough.
"stable government"...."whoever the flavor of the decade is"

erm...and do your U.S. governments last over a decade?

Here are some facts that do not fit comfortably into your narrative of a peace-loving nation that is up against a fanatical, murderous terrorist organisation. In 2006, Hamas won a fair and free Palestinian election and formed a government, seeking a long-term ceasefire with Israel. Israel refused to negotiate. In 2007, Hamas and Fatah formed a national unity government with the same agenda. Israel resorted to economic warfare to undermine this government and encouraged Fatah to stage a coup to drive Hamas from power. Hamas pre-empted the coup with a violent seizure of power in Gaza.

In flagrant violation of international law, Israel then imposed a blockade (still in force today) on the 1.8 million inhabitants of Gaza. Four months ago, Hamas reached an accord with Fatah, and another national unity government was formed, this time without a single Hamas-affiliated member but with the old agenda of negotiating an end to the conflict with Israel.

The last thing Netanyahu and his right-wing colleagues want is a united and moderate Palestinian national leadership. And thus the abduction of the young settlers was a perfect excuse to undermine the unity government and initiate the current assault.

They should look for a leader like Mandela
For once we agree!

The whole world should look for a leader like Mandela, I wish more of us were as fair and forgiving as he.

"Apartheid is a crime against humanity. Israel has deprived millions of Palestinians of their liberty and property. It has perpetuated a system of gross racial discrimination and inequality. It has systematically incarcerated and tortured thousands of Palestinians, contrary to the rules of international law. It has, in particular, waged a war against a civilian population, in particular children."
- Nelson Mandela

“We know too well that our freedom is incomplete without the freedom of the Palestinians.” - Nelson Mandela

The rest of Nelson Mandela's letter to Thomas Friedman can be found here -

Until then Gaza and the West Bank will never rise from the pit they are in.
Conveniently ignoring that much of Palestine was given by the British to Jewish Zionists (Balfour Declaration, Sykes Picot Agreement), who went on to illegally occupy (according to the United Nations) the West Bank and Gaza, killing, expelling and stealing from Palestinians. Until this finally ceases.....

Gaza and the West Bank will never rise from the pit they are in.
And as an American who has visited most of the middle east, Israel is a JEWEL of western democracy
Dear Walter Mitty,

You and I both know that you have never visited most of the middle east. Like your comment, you are completely full of shit.

I would never have imagined reading an intelligent, cogent post on this website (no offense meant to DR, we do what we do) and have never considered making an effort myself but andrew101, you've just made DR a little bit more intelligent with that one. I am literally stunned.

I find it ironic that someone who wants to play grammar police, can divide their ideas into paragraphs quite well, but then fails to see breaks in ideas in other people's paragraphs.

You sir, are one of the reasons it's usually best to just read DR rather than involve yourself with folks who just repeated say shit like "kill pigs", "kill zionists", and "kill the muslims".

Thank you very much. It was a bit of an effort, I'm fed up of reading bigotted nonsense on internet forums.

Obviously, I'm fighting a losing battle and I keep promising: "Never again, what's the point, don't waste your time, this is my last post etc."

Thanks again.

True. You are both completely right.

I wrote it while I was angry and although I stand by the other points I raised: my comments on your grammer, name-calling etc. was purposely, high-handed, unneccessary and demeaning.

I am sorry.

Also, for the sake of fairness and accuracy: Although the second statement I attributed to Nelson Mandela is completely accurate, the first is an oft reported but false quotation.

For accurate quotes from Mandela on the situation in Palestine see:
